Your reading list is a bit short this week. Premature celebration may be unjustified. It consists of a chapter from Hutchinson's TREATISE. I hope you will take a look at the entire series. It's exasperating, but I cannot leave the book on the shelf. We have lost half a dozen copies. (Sad commentary isn't it?) The libraries had copies. They keep replacing them. They may exist. I have a copy you may look through. I now have volume 4 - the last in the series.
Professor Hutchinson offered us a trick which I mean to pass along to as many readers as possible - read the summary of a chapter first - then read the chapter.
I will suggest a chapter, but I would be pleased if you picked a different one because it interested you.
Try conjuring a question, or two from this material. We will use them in class.
